Never Fully Here is a gentle exploration of immigrant identity that follows a solitary character caught between worlds, navigating the complex borders of belonging neither here nor there – not foreign enough, yet never truly British.

The piece blends physical theatre, clowning, and multilingual storytelling to explore liminal identities, from initial excitement and hope to the grinding reality of visa applications, workplace discrimination, and cultural displacement. Arriving in an unfamiliar room that becomes both sanctuary and prison.

The performance captures the exhaustion of existing between worlds. Yet it ultimately finds strength in this liminality, examining how to exist in multiplicity. A meditation on belonging, resilience, and the beauty of multiplicity, Never Fully Here transforms the immigrant experience from one of deficit to one of abundance.

This show contains depictions of discriminatory and xenophobic behaviour.
